Anxi wulong
To get Benshan Oolong's (Anxi wulong) unique pearl shape, freshly harvested and fried tea leaves are wrapped in fabric 30kg at a time and kneaded in a large ball until the leaves are very compact. Then they are unwrapped and kneaded many more times until they get processed further. https://sevencups.com/
It comes from Fujian province in China where it's plant has extremely strong branches and their peduncles are bright and thin. Benshan means ice peak and to the Chinese, the Benshan Oolong symbolizes strength and endurance.
